Alan Rodríguez

ENGLISH

He was born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico in 1991. Since his childhood he had an interest in drawing, much of his time was spent playing with the pencil, imagining scenes and putting them on paper, creating his own toys and spending the afternoons observing the horizon, thinking of giants on the clouds and mountains.

His passion for observing the formation of clouds comes from the fear of them, that is, from the fear of storms, which forced his mind to interpret the weather.

As time went by, fear made him a lover, he admired so much how vulnerable we are, in the face of uncontrollable forces. He supposed that "we call nature what we do not understand." This leads him to delve into themes that he captures in his work.

He decides to dedicate himself completely to painting from an early age, because he believes that there is no science that encompasses more than imagination, with which he intends to establish an extensive dialogue.

Self-taught, although it is worth mentioning, his teachers were his older brothers, Víctor and Carlos Rodríguez, later the painter Edgardo Kerlegand, with whom he learned a lot the pencil line and with whom he collaborated in the elaboration of murals in Guadalupe neighborhood. Mojica Museum, in his hometown.

At present, his works are represented by renowned galleries in Mexico, Canada and Italy.

. Museo Mojica, en su ciudad natal.
