"Amelia Everett es una artista visual y escritora residente en San Miguel de Allende, México. Originaria de Asheville, Carolina del Norte, su práctica artística creció a partir de una devoción por las tradiciones artesanales de las montañas Apalaches. Estudió tejido en la Penland School of Craft, con exploraciones continuas en sus escuelas hermanas Haystack y Arrowmont. La técnica Theo Moorman que utiliza en sus tapices permite la expresión de detalles finos y profundidad de textura, y emplea una mezcla de fibras naturales y reutilizadas.
