Zayda Ascencio is a visual artist mainly specialized in oil painting. She studied Visual Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Autonomous University of Querétaro.

She has exhibited at the Museo Soumaya in Mexico City, House of Culture of San Miguel de Allende, Center of Culture Branch of Waters in Guanajuato, Museum of Art of Querétaro, Museum of the City in Querétaro, Center of the Arts of Querétaro and Nuqleo Gallery.
She had her first individual exhibition at the Fundación Carol Rolland in March 2020.

In addition to having obtained the scholarship - trip by the
Santiago Carbonell Foundation Museum in 2018.
